Like pizza but don’t like red sauce? Trader Joe’s Burrata, Prosciutto and Arugula Flatbread might be for you. Yes, it’s advertised as a flatbread with all these toppings, but it really might as well be called pizza. If they did call it pizza it might get lost in the freezer section.
Pros: Very tasty and good value considering you get a small package of prosciutto with this. Looks as good as the picture on the box.
Cons: Sitting down and eating this whole thing is just about 900 calories so plan accordingly.
The verdict: For $4.99 it was a good deal, tasty, and if you are not watching calories it’s something that you can enjoy or share. I’ve bought this several times.
The back of the box:
The nutritional information, yup, sit and eat the whole thing that is almost 900 calories:
Out of the box:
Out of the toaster oven for 18 minutes at 450 F:
The hot pizza makes the prosciutto melt a bit more. My prosciutto had quite a bit of fat so I didn’t use it all. The pizza was tasty and as much as I thought I wouldn’t enjoy “cooked” arugula it was a nice touch of peppery bitterness. I’ll buy this again.
